Vehicle Description 1965 Oldsmobile 442 finished in Burgundy Mist paint with Black horizontal stripe on the rear.
Paint shows its age in some areas and touched up in other spots.
Front bumper does have some dings in it and pitting on the rear, check out the still photos.
Red vinyl (915 trim code) bench seat interior with shifter on the floor.
Powered by a 1965-era 400 V8 (389-928 casting, 345 hp & 340 lb/ft tq) that is paired up with a 3-speed manual transmission.
Previous owner had the engine rebuilt approximately 14,000 miles ago and states it is the original engine to this car; we cannot confirm originality due to this era of engine not having a vin derivative.
Riding on aftermarket chrome wheels.
The 442 in this 1965-body style was the only one that got the rear quarter side vents, Lansing built 442's were distinguished via a 4V code on the cowl tag.
This car did not come with a protect-o-plate or build sheet.
Equipped with a Rochester carb as it would've come new from General Motors.
AM radio in the dash does power up! Aftermarket temperature and oil pressure gauges added below the dash, both in working order.
