Vehicle Description In 1955 Mercury introduced the Montclair series and here is a beautiful example of the Montclair convertible! There were only a little of 10k of these made in 1955 making this one very rare Mercury! It has just become available to purchase and will make its next owner one of few to own a car like this.
It's a frame off restoration that is in extremely nice shape and ready to be shown or driven.
This car has been kept stock and it's Persimmon paint harkens back to the mid 50s and cruising to Elvis, Chuck Berry or Bill Haley and the Comets! This classic is still powered by the engine Mercury introduced in 1955, the 195hp Super-Torque V-8.
This engine had many advancements such as a Superstructure crankshaft, mechanical overhead valve system, full pressure lubrication, new 4-barrel carburetor and more.
This V8 is paired with the optional Merc-O-Matic Drive for smooth and easy carefree shifting.
