Doherty Staffing Solutions, a division of Doherty Employment Group, a high quality staffing agency specializing in administrative and clerical staffing is currently interviewing for a Staffing Specialist.
Summary
Doherty Staffing Solutions, is seeking a Staffing Specialist to work in our Jackson location. This position reports to the Service Manager. The pay range is $12-15 per hour.
Staffing Specialist Responsibilities
The Staffing Specialist position is responsible for:
o Interview, hire and place temporary employees. Identify qualified employees through recruiting, interviewing, and screening processes.
o Perform all daily office tasks such as entering paperwork, answering phones, greeting applicants, in a timely manner.
o Provide verbal or in person check-ins, and quality assurance checks with clients.
o Fulfill client orders with a high regard to quality of candidate to ensure the best match.
o Communication with temporary employees regarding interviews and status updates.
o Coach assigned temporary employees on interview skills, attendance, attitude, and hygiene.
o Ensure all paperwork conforms to company policies as it pertains to recruiting compliance practices.
Staffing Specialist Requirements
The following are required for the Staffing Specialist role.
o High school diploma or equivalent is required. Two years of college or two years related work experience preferred.
o Must communicated effectively verbally and written with all levels of employees, management, co-workers and customers alike.
o Must have excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
o Willingness to work efficiently in a team environment as well as independently.
o Bilingual, Spanish-English, a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
