Ecumen Pathstone Living seeks a Cafe Assistant to join its team. Ecumen Pathstone Living consists of 61 assisted living rental apartment homes, as well as 69 nursing home beds, 21 additional residences for seniors requiring memory care services and is located in Mankato, Minnesota. The Caf Assistant is responsible for assisting with preparation, serving and clean up of resident meals and snacks as directed. Maintains work area in good housekeeping order. Complies with federal and state regulations and follows established policies and procedures of the organization. Specific responsibilities include:
Properly operates food equipment in the food preparation area, and other equipment used in the dietary department upon completed training.
Assists in meal preparation duties as assigned, including, but not limited to, organizing food and supplies, preparation of food, serving of meals, and clean-up
Assists all workers and positions in the dinning department; identifies what needs to be done and assists as needed.
Integrates proper safety and sanitation techniques as part of the work, e.g. washes hands, wears appropriate equipment when needed for safety, wears hair covering, uses cleaning products properly.
Follows safety and sanitation rules; recognizes and acts on safety hazards - wipes up spills or wet spots off the floor, keeps hallways, passage ways in kitchen uncluttered when using cleaning equipment, etc.; reports problems to supervisor.
Demonstrates respect for facility property and supplies. Protects equipment and eliminates waste
Executes tasks in an orderly manner; cleans up promptly and after others if needed to eliminate hazards and improve appearance.
Accomplishes routine, daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities within allotted time available.
Other duties as assigned.

This position requires a person who is at least 16 years old. Related work experience is preferred. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
