Reviewing and monitoring operations and expenses, then making any required changes to resolve problems;
Supervising and managing employees, including training, hiring and terminating decisions, performance evaluation, scheduling work assignments;
Capital Projects planning and supervising;
Safe work practices, GMPs, maintaining sanitary conditions;
Monitoring for compliance with government laws, rules, regulations;
Establishing goals and formulating plans to reach those goals;
Generating reports on production and operations;

EDUCATION: 4-year degree required; Food Science or related disciplines preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
7+ years of management experience in a large production environment (700+, or multiple locations);
3+ years as Plant Manager in a food processing plant;
ASEPTIC experience required;
Experience developing employees by managing, training and mentoring;
Knowledgeable in plant operations, production scheduling, government rules and regulations;
USDA, liquid fill;
Demonstrated knowledge of SPC applications;
Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
