Pitching article ideas/brainstorming relationship-building techniques to 10
new sites/niches per day
Working closely with other departments to emphasize certain products and capitalize on current or future trends
Work on contests and giveaways to drive more traffic to halloweencostumes.com, shirts.com and fun.com
Utilize applicable web metrics to garner quality links and best content for fun.com and its websites
Other duties as assigned
Basic
Qualifications:
Superlative writing ability, with the ability to change writing style depending on situation
Able to write original content quickly
Ridiculous amounts of pop-cultural and geeky knowledge, both broad and specialized
High degree of knowledge in Mozilla Firefox and general web browser usage
Highly adaptive to changes in work processes
Well-versed in social media usage
Able to work on several projects at any one time
Ability to prioritize aforementioned several projects
Always on top of major internet, television, movie, fashion trends
Preferred
Qualifications:
B.S./B.A. in English, Creative Writing, Marketing, Communications, or other writing-intensive discipline
Basic-intermediate knowledge of Graphic Design/PhotoshopEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
