The Software Developer will write code, and complete programming and testing of systems and applications.
They will also work with our internal customers to develop new or custom features for software products and services.
Responsibilities Develop new systems Provide sound technological recommendations that meet successful business criteria in terms of customer satisfaction and technical risk, cost.
Interact with business decision makers.
Recommend updates and improvements to existing systems.
Fix, improve and extend existing code bases.
May mentor more junior staff in technology and development tools, technologies, and methodologies Participate in development efforts as a key player to achieve deliverables on time with appropriate solutions.
Perform business analysis.
Has ability to discern and articulate root needs and solutions.
Stay current and anticipate future technological trends and expectations Execute additional tasks as needed Experience Requires BS degree or equivalent experience.
7-10 or more years' experience in software development.
Strong understanding of modern software technology.
Ongoing efforts to maintain skills and knowledge.
Technological expertise/mastery in multiple diverse areas:
Microsoft Office Products (Project, Excel, Access, SharePoint, Word, Outlook), development environments (Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code), database technologies MS SQL Server, operating systems (Windows Server 11, Windows 10) Skills Focus on achievement and a disposition to take action to get results.
Learn quickly and do all levels of hands-on work in software development.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Resourceful, problem-solver, able to prioritize and multitask, and a desire to learn new technologies rapidly.
